Satta Matka - The Lotto Play Name That Was Used Earlier

 Satta Matka is a type of lottery and gambling that in the past involved betting on both the opening and closing prices of cotton exchanged from the New York Cotton Exchange to the Bombay Cotton Exchange located in India. It originates during the pre-liberal age of Indian economy, prior to the age of the British Empire.  This form of trading developed in the year 1820, when traders, either individually or in small groups, started visiting the various cotton mills located in the Indian Thar Desert regions. Initially there were no written rules for this type of gambling.
